The latest, 2016 World Luxury Restaurant Awards, added these two categories to the resort hotel’s string of accolades:

- Luxury Hotel Restaurant (Country Winner)The Honorary Consul of Malaysia in Basel, Switzerland, Datuk Jeffery Sandragesan, received the two awards on behalf of The Haven at a gala ceremony which took place at Grand Hotel Kronenhof Pontresina in Switzerland on June 18, 2016.The winners of the 2016 World Luxury Awards were determined based on adjudged merits and on a global voting poll among the finalists.
